Hailed as Tajima’s premiere “borderless local party,” this festival is a vibrant convergence of sustainable craft, stellar cuisine, and community spirit, all set within one of Yabu’s most atmospheric historical sites.

TANIGAKI FES is more than just an event; it’s a revitalization project. For the final time in this current chapter, the festival will take over the magnificent San-in Bijin Sake Brewery in Yoka district of Yabu City, Hyogo prefecture.
Standing proudly on the north bank of the Yagi River, the brewery building—with its striking white walls, charred cedar planks, and towering brick chimney—has been a fixture of the townscape since the 1930s.
What few realize is that its deeper cellars date back to the 1700s, offering a truly unforgettable, historical backdrop for a modern celebration.

This year features 26 top establishments—including popular spots from major hubs like Tokyo and Osaka, and prefectures as far as Fukushima and Tochigi in the east —all descending upon Yabu.
